Health & Safety when Working at Height

Falls are the biggest cause of death in the workplace. The Work at Height Regulations 2005 came into effect on the 6th April 2006. To comply with this directive, and ensure that we always deliver a safe service to you we:

  • Assess every job before we begin.
  • Where possible we do not work at height. Our Reach and Wash SystemTM often allows us to do the job from the ground.
  • Where work at height is required we create a "plan of works" which details what method will be used to access each area of the building
  • Train our Window Cleaners to work safely, and where specialised skills are required, such as abseil, ensure that they have the appropriate experience and qualifications.
  • Provide examples of our method statements and risk assessments, and where work at height is required produce site-specific documents.
  • Inspect and maintain our equipment.
